Not sure what to say?

May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. Sending condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My Condolences.

Over dinner, the sharpness and depth of his intellect made me sit up, wake up, and get immediately energized. Cannot imagine taking an opposite view in debate. And not to forget his humor; so much needed these days. Rest in peace, sir! God loves humor, too.

Wyoming and the nation has lost an outstanding individual and public servant. He was a friend and mentor to many. It was a priviledge and honor to know and work with Alan Simpson. May God bless his family in this time of loss. Richard and Liisa McKamey Worland, Wyoming

Senator Simpson was a dear friend of my mother, Sally L. Smith (Founder of Washington's Lab School). I had the pleasure of being with him on many occasions, and he was always a unique joy to be around. His comments on the world were often hilarious. And despite that -- he also had a super-strong quality of solace and heroism. My mother was tremendously grateful for his friendship. I feel honored to have known him. I convey all best wishes to Ann, his family, and his closest friends.

In September 2009 my friend and I attended a conversation presentation by Peter and Alan in Jackson at The Center for Arts. A very entertaining evening. The next morning my friend and I surprisingly met them in a hallway at the Wort Hotel and they showed us the silver dollar bar. What a treat! I live in Minnesota. Very sorry to learn of Senator Simpson´s passing.

The last honest Republican who had both faith and integrity. Even though I am a Democrat I respected him . I live in Las Vegas Nevada.

Sen. Alan Simpson and my father, Steve Majhanovich, served together in the Wyoming State House. One a Democrat, one a Republican. Both true friends. Imagine that! I´ll always remember the kindness Sen.Simpson extended my mom when my father died. My condolences to the family. Carole M. Belf
