Dr. Alan H. Stein

Thankyou for all the kind words about my father. Hearing stories and hearing from people that new him many years ago shows me the impact he made on people was amazing. We all will miss him very much!

Josh, Ben and the Stein family:

I am sorry for the loss of your father. I met your dad only a few times but I can say that he has had a positive influence on my life through his sons and their friendship.

You know how much we are thinking of you. Al was the truest of friends and embodied all that a physician and a man of integrity should and can be. He said only good things about people, as they of him. I can still see his smile and hear his laugh. We hope that that trials of the past few years will quickly be replaced by comforting memories. Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of Dr. Stein. I had worked with him for some time and with you, too, Ginny. He was always a great person, both as a medical professional and as a friend. My many mentors at the hospital say they called him "Big Al, The Nurse's Pal", among other things. I just wanted to express my condolences on behalf of all the guys on the annual Florida golf trip. Al, truly enjoyed the trip and we enjoyed his company. He will be missed but will always be in our hearts. The Commissioner.
