Not sure what to say?

Ruth...just saw this obit for Allan..My fondest memories date back to the mid 1960's when you were living in SanFran...I used to see Allah at Northwest Airlines regularly when I was returning to the University of Wisconsin and he was returning to YOU!!!! How did I recognize Allan?...my dad...Dan Supon...dad was always at the airport to see me off and ofcourse introduced me to Allan. I loved knowing I had cousins on the west coast( in addition to Ben Simon)

I just learned of Alan's death. He was my boss, and a wonderful mentor at Montgomery Securities. I loved him. He was generous, kind, and a man of strongly held convictions. I remember sitting down with him when I was leaving to joining ICOS corporation. We chatted a bit, and he said, "I hear you have a boyfriend". Alan was my mentor at Goldman Sachs and a real mensch. I missed him terribly when he left for
San Francisco, even though we kept in touch for a short period of time. My wife, Deanna, joins me in expressing our condolences to Ruth and the family.

A great athlete, accomplished businessman and an important philanthropist. A credit to our family.

Alan...so remarkable! Such a sweet soul with a business & philanthropic mind & heart. So unique from the others. When he joined A.C.T.'s board & I was Dir. of Dev., he elevated the entire operation. Such a gem of a man. It's been over 40+ years, and every time I drive by his home in Presidio Heights, I think of him. Peace. A major legacy!!!!!

Alan was my Uncle. He was a great man with many accomplishments. He showed me how to succeed in business and care about others.
