Not sure what to say?

Al-an, what-chyou doooing? Youuuu know better than that!
I find myself saying these silly catch phrases everyday in my life. Those phrases that just permeated my “Patti World” vernacular by Alan osmosis. Doooooh.
Alan, you became my brother by default after Mike went college. I’m happy that you were the fun one of the two but don’t tell Mike. You became my drinkin’, dancin’ pool playin’, concert goin’, Buffalo Bills watchin’, pigs playin, cards playin’ buddy (but NEVER my dime...

"But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and...

Gloria,

I am so sorry for the lost of your precious Alan. The service yesterday was beautiful and I hope brought comfort to you and your family in knowing that he is always with you. May God bless each of you.

Alan,
I know I only knew you a short time, but even now I'm paranoid if anyone across the gaming table even looks like they're going to throw a die after rolling several 1's in a row...thanks to you.

You were a good friend, a better roommate than anyone can ask for, a talented roleplayer and photographer and your wit and sarcasm will be sorely missed.

May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

Christine DiCicco
previous co-worker at B/A

This is a beautiful obituary, bringing tears to read. Alan was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. The donation to the ALS is a truly touching and romantic suggestion. Love and support to all his friends and family.

Our thoughts and prayers extend out to your family at this time. You truly were a great person to work with.

Alan... oh man... the only postiive side I can see to this is that you're finally reunited with Amy. You were hilarious at the gaming (dungeons and dragons) table, a reliable and "solid" friend, never afraid to speak your mind (making you so much more honest than most people).. these qualities and many more will make you very, very much missed. It's a cliche but a true one - the world is much poorer for your absence.
