Not sure what to say?

Al was a great athlete and a good friend. He played shortstop for our Red Creek team and was part of our first victory & celebration afterwards, with him and Stirling having a race from the Winfield to the Wintonaire...Al almost running through the glass door. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I fondly remember Alan because my family and the Sweedler's were good friends. We all grew up at the same time. Alan was a great athlete and Morrie and Sylvia were so proud of him! My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Al you were a fantastic man who will be greatly missed. Rest in Paradise

Jeff and Shelley,
All your #1 school family are so sad to hear of Alan's too soon death.

Al was. the. best.

It is so very sad to hear about Alan's passing. I was fortunate to have spent many hours with him on the softball field and at the Wintonaire. Rosalie and I had an excellent visit with him in CA many years ago. He will be missed.

Alan and I went to Monroe HS together - he was senior class prez and I was vp - we shared the same birthday 12/13/48 - but he was a much better baseball player than I was which he proved over and over - this year is our 50th high school reunion - he will be present in our words and memories
