Not sure what to say?

Laura & I remember with fondness that our marriage of 32 years began as teachers at Alan's. Our heart goes out to Jan and the rest of the family at this difficult time. Alan was a unique individual and will be remembered by every one he touched.

Alan was a kind and thoughtful neighbor. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Alan was such a dear, kind man. He was wonderful with the children. I enjoyed the years that I worked there. My condolences to the family.

I remember being 5 years old going into Alans music store for the first time to buy a book to learn how to play piano...since then I have taken piano lessons, clarinet lessons, and voice lessons at this music store. Also anytime I wanted to buy sheet music for any reason I have always gone to that store and he always took great care of my clarinet when I have brought it in for its regular tuning and check ups. I was very sad to see that he has passed away and my prayers are with your family....

When I was 5, I took my first piano lessons at Alan's. I remember Alan would patiently and trustingly let my sister inspect each oboe reed until she found the one she wanted. The legacy of this man and his family is great.

Alan was a kind and encouraging man, and I loved working at Alan's Music Center. I will always remember it as one of the best times in my life. Your family has my condolences and prayers. You will be missed.

Sending condolences and prayers for the family. Alan was a blessing to many and will be missed.

The music in my daughters' lives has been greatly influenced by Alan and his family business. Thank you.

Dear Urich family,
I did not know Alan personally, but from everything Janal has written about him, he was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences.
