I was a small child when I met Alan when He would come up to Eagleville to Paul and Lillys. I don't remember much but I always want to see him when he was up because he was so nice. we lived across the street. So sorry for your loss. You will all be in my prayers.

It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one no matter how long they lived, or how much time you have to prepare. Take comfort in knowing that you have the love of many to support you - now and always.

Vicki, I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of your father. I lost my father at the young age of 21, so I am so happy that you were able to spend so many years together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family at this time. I hope that each new day will bring peace and strength.

Vicki & Karl, so sorry to hear about your father's passing. RD and I will be praying for your family to give you the strength you need as you go through this time of sorrow. People say laughter is the best medicine and good memories, and they are right. As the special occasions come and go they will get easier.

I am grateful for the life of Alan Vanzant. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
Susan and I send our deepest condolences. Alan was a good friend and a great man. He served God, his family, and his country well. His was truly a life well-lived, and he will be missed. I lost my dad last year, and I think about him every day. Our prayers are with you as you deal with this loss.
