Alana Green Macdonald

Deep and very late condolences to Alana's family. I knew Alana through my family in Detroit. My parents were friends with her parents. I shared Alana's passion for social justice. I admired for for trying to integrate Crystal Pool. Sadly, the pool closed instead of doing the right thing. I visited Alana and her sons in 1982 in California. We had a backyard picnic. I am sad that Alana is gone. She surely made a difference in our world.
