Al was the coolest guy anyone could ever meet. No matter where he went someone would come up to him with a hug and talk story on how much fun they had together. Quick witted and funny. He told the most interesting stories of growing up in Kalihi. He was a experienced wayerman who was one of the beach boys and lived to surf and paddle his OC-1. He was extremely generous.
