I miss you Grandpa

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. We all frequently reminisce of our days in Elmhurst, and your wonderful family. You have all been included in my prayers.

We always enjoyed seeing Peter. He had wonderful stories to share and a fun and witty sense of humor. We are saddened by your tremendous loss.

My heart goes out to you, Joan and family. Believe me,when I say, the STANEKS could never have had better neighbors than the BATES! Our one regret on leaving Elmhurst.

Joan and family: Our condolences to you all on your loss. 'Pete' will be missed by all who have ever had the good fortune to have met him.

I will certainly miss seeing Pete in the Bank and having intellectual and fun conversations with him. He always had something interesting to discuss. He will be missed.

I never had the honor of meeting Pete, but I heard a lot of wonderful things about him from my aunt, Catriona Bowen, and I know he will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss... Its my understanding that he was a wonderful man loved by all... I am a long time dear friend of Brendan Bates, 28, grew up on Maude av in Arl. Hts. Illinois, and hope to hear from him!!
