Diane, Bart Luke and family. Al was such joy to know, and a respected statesman. We send our sympathy to your family and will fondly remember Al with a twinkle in his eye, a smile, and giving spirit. Fondly, Katie Corbus and Booker Drennan

Diane, Al was a true statesman for rural Alaska and a genuinely good man. It was truly an honor working for him for a short while. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Roxanne

Al; your smile warmed the winter day in Juneau, you treated all, no matter what their station in life, with respect and dignity. '

May God rest your soul.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. May our Heavenly Father provide strength and comfort to the family during this time of grief. For he is near to those broken at heart. Ps 34:17,18

Al always treated Marty and me as friends, not as a State employee or a legislative employ. He was always a gentlemen and we will miss him.
Diane, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time

HE WAS A GOOD MAN, FRIEND AND SENATOR WHO FOUGHT FOR THE GOOD OF ALASKA NATIVES .I WILL...

To Diane should you see this...my heart and thoughts are with you and the boys. It has been so many years since I have seen all of you. The friendship and support that both you and Al gave is still precious to me; our times at Shelter Island a treasure. May you be well..
