Dear Jo and family,
I am Tashira Vargas. I met Al last year at Education Connection. He spoke for us the very last time we had this feild trip. When he spoke to us that day I felt so comfortable around him. He was such a great person, I know that i only met him that one time but i would never forget him. I felt that we had a connection. I know that I am not the only one because that day we heard from him my friends told me that they liked him very much. He had many gret things to say...

Jo,
What can be said that you haven't already felt and heard. Al was an unforgetable person. He was "there" for me in many a political situation, but what I enjoyed the most and treasure about him was his sincerity and humanity. He will be truly missed. God Bless you and your wonderful family.
Most Sincerely,
John and Carla Woodcock

Dear Jo and family,
Mary & Jackie Reardon, our next door neighbors, introduced us to you all many years ago when you were visiting. Your Sandy was our Susie's age. We are so sorry to hear about your loss--Al was such a prince of a fellow. He was an amazing person to overcome his illness for so long, what a fighter!
Our sincere sympathies.

Uncle Tootsie will be greatly missed. He was liked and loved by all those who met him. He always walked around with a smile on his face and a joke to tell to put a smile on our faces. He was the first person Mike bonded with 4 years ago at the family Christmas party and he will never be forgotten. We are so sorry that we can't be there but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all.

Hi Sandy,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember just a month ago seeing you over in the 'deanery' and you sharing of the news of your dad's latest illness. I know this must be such a sorrowful time for you. I won't be able to attend any of the services becuase of classes, but know I am thinking of you, your family and your loss. Love, Barbara
