I have been thinking about you a lot this past week, now I know why. Here we are a year later and it seem like yesterday; I can hear my Dad saying you won the bet. XXOO - Monica

TO MARIE AND FAMILY
SO SAD TO SEE THIS, HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH YOU AND THE SHOP FOR YEARS. MY MOM WENT TO SCHOOL WITH AL AND HE IS FONDLY REMEMBERED. I USED TO GET FLOWERS AND EVEN BOWS FROM HIM AT HOLIDAYS FOR MY MOM WHEN HE WAS DOWNTOWN SOMEWHERE. ALWAYS HAD GREAT CONVERSATION WITH HIM AT THE RIVERSIDE SHOP AND SACRAMENTO HAS LOST AN ICON IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY. SINCERE CONDOLENCES, I KNOW HE WILL BE SADLY AND GREATLY MISSED.

I always enjoyed talking with Al, particularly about his experiences during World War II. I feel fortunate to have known him. He was a wonderful man. Lance D.
