Not sure what to say?

Kurt, Holly, and family, I am so saddened to hear of Albert´s passing. He was a great guy and so much fun to be with. We all lived together at the SN house in Logan during our college years, 1973-76 for me when I was there. Brian Budge let me know that we had lost Albert. I think about you guys often and the good times we had together in those days. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of grief.

We shared a love of horses with Albert. He will be missed.

I have very fond precious memories of Al both at work and play so to speak. Those memories have been more so and becoming clearer over the last month. My Prayers are With and For Al and Holly and Family. Barry Stata and Family, Blue Ridge, VA

A great man. Had many great rides and hunting camps with Al and Holly. Al always had a great outlook on life. He will be missed. He is taking care of his horses and dogs that passed before him in Heaven. They all loved seeing him and now being with him.

Sorry to hear of Al's passing. This is Tom Freeman. Your in our prayers.

What a wonderful "steward of the land". I agree, he was also so kind. Wish we could have seen more of him but we share many of his passions for the land. I will always appreciate his tenacity and commitment. His family was so supportive for his needs and he was there for them as well. Please accept our condolences. We hope to be back in Idaho for his Celebration of Life. RIP, Al... Nina and Pat Trainor

We will always appreciate Al's letters to the editor. We offer Holly and family our condolences.

We sure won´t forget Al´s great laugh! It matched his sense of humor and gentle spirit. His kind words gave me encouragement as a new recruit on the Payette NF. We´re so sorry for his passing and send our heartfelt hugs. Denise and Pete Amell

I feel so honored & fortunate to have spent some time with Al, both during my career & after I retired & settled in Meadows Valley. His love of the land, his family, & horses shone through in all his words & actions. His insight, wisdom & humor were so appreciated. May his memory be a blessing.
