Albert S. Behan Jr.

I worked at Union Carbide with Al, but not closely. But I was aware that so many colleagues spoke so highly of Al on both business and personal fronts. Fortunately for us we got to know Al better in retirement, at retiree Christmas lunches at the Cabin Restaurant (see picture). It was there that I too found out why all those people spoke so well of him, and I would seek him out just to enjoy and benefit from his company. We were lucky to connect with one of the really good guys.

To the Behan family, please accept my deepest condolences on Al's passing. I knew him for many years at Union Carbide and he was always a very considerate and humorous man. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Without a doubt you are one of the finest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and of spending a portion of my life with. Condolences to your remaining family whom you so often spoken highly of. May you and Anne share eternity!

To Al's family,
I'm a Carbide retiree who knew your Dad for many years. He was a member of the greatest
"company gang" there ever was, and there are only a few of us left. I'll be unable to attend the wake but you are in my prayers.
