Albert Merlin "Al" Bemiss

I just learned of Albert's passing. Im deeply saddened and can only offer my condolences to the family. Valerie Tenette Johnson

Truly, one of finest of musicians IN MUSIC and IN CHRIST! Many prayers for the family.

To the family may God keep you in his absence. Al was a very talented man in the musical business. I learned a lot while in the choir at beecher memorial in New Orleans.

I was always amazed at the wonderful gift of creating music with which Al was blessed. He was friend to and accompanist for the Cornerstone trio. He blessed so many. My deepest sympathy to his family in this loss.

Oh how The Cornerstone Trio will always hold a special place in our heart for Al. God allowed Al & us to share much music together. Family, you are uppermost in my prayers. Love you

My condolences to Valentine, Burnell and the rest of the Bemiss family on the home going of Albert Bemiss. We all grew up in Fifth African Baptist Church where his father Rev. Walter J. Bemiss was the pastor and his mother Valentine was a faithful usher. May the One Infinite Creator bless all.

My condolences to the family. I knew the family when I was a member of Fifth African Baptist Church. Albert was the organist and Val, Burnell, and Kathy all of us grew up in that church.
