Hello. Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of Al's death. I just wanted to let all of his family know that I still often think of him. And remember his kindnesses to me and my sister when we were just kids. I am so glad I got to keep in touch with him. Though it is not the same, I feel this is how people live on through us, in our hearts and memories. He will always bring a smile to me, thinking about him. Dear Aunt Trudy, Cousin David, Sheryl, Jayson & Kristina,

It's been almost 2 wks since Al, Mr Sunshine, went to rest in peace. Now that his pain & suffering is over, we can all continue to live in his footsteps of love, laughter, music and eating lots of chocolate.

David, I am so proud of you. You did a great job at the funeral in honoring your Dad. He & your Mom are proud of you too I'm sure.

We are so sorry for the loss of your father/grandfather. It was a real pleasure to meet him when he was in Sonoma. We are so happy that he became a Christian before his death and that we will all meet again. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Our love to all of you.

I did not have the chance to meet Al personally. But, i do know his son. Anyone who helped raise such an awesome person must have been tremendous. I know his family will miss him.

Thank you, Dad, for your unconditional love. You are the only father I have ever known. I am so grateful that you never treated me like an "in-law" but instead always like your daughter.
