Aunt Chris,
I did not know your brother Al but read his obituary and learned that he was a brave american who served our nation to protect and defend the freedom and liberties we all cherish today. That he continued to protect and serve as a police officer for the Cleveland Police Dept. I did not know Albert J Blum Sr. but please know that I am proud of your brother. I will remember you Aunt Chris in my thoughts and prayers.

You used to be my Al who lives in a tree. For the majority of my childhood I believed you too. But now, you've moved out of your tree, and I hope you are resting peacefully among the clouds. I bet it's a bit softer than branches up there. You are deeply missed, and my sincerest condolences go out to anyone and everyone who has said goodbye to Al in the tree.
