Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Mr. Boyd's passing. While in high school, I spent my summers working for CWLP with Tommy Jones. We started every morning with breakfast at Boyd's. I always had an order of biscuits and gravy with a side of grits. I still have a lot of great memories from those days. May you find comfort in the great memories you shared with him.

Albert was a tremendous person and will be missed by all. I knew Al as a driver for Nelch's, a parent and overseer of the cash register at Boyd's. Always with a big smile and friendly greeting. Albert was an asset to our world and will be a great asset to God's world.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We met briefly during your Father's illness this last month. Your family made a lasting impression of love, devotion and caring. Your Father raised a wonderful family. May you find comfort in God's ways. The South Family, Phil, Bonnie and Shirlene.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Al was a great man...loved seeing him at the restaurant with Tommy always cutting some jokes with each other! He will greatly be missed!

Valerie, Greg & Mrs. Boyd: I've been out of town and just read today's paper and the wonderful article about Mr. Boyd. I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your entire family. What a blessing though...88 years! Don't forget, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Grace, Peace & many Blessings to you.

To the Boyd family: My condolences to you - his family. I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Boyd's passing. One of my favorite memories of Mr. Boyd is his smile and sunny disposition. He always had a kind word of encouragement to me whenever we met. Sometimes he woulnd't remember my name and we would laugh about that. I will miss him.

Annie, I'm sorry to hear about Albert. I knew him for many years
as I worked at Henry Nelch & Son too. He was a great guy.
I was in Florida at the time of his death. My condolences to
you and your family.

I wish to extend my condolences to the Boyd family. I first met Al when he delivered concrete to our home. While I wheeled loads to the back yard, Al teased my 2 small sons by spraying them with his truck hose. When I came back to the front for my third load, my sons had pulled out the garden hose and were soaking Al while he tried to climb up behind the drum. We had a good time that morning. My sons and I were happy to reconnect with Al years later at the restaurant over smothered pork...

Valerie, I just read the article about your father in the paper - I didn't see the obituary. I am so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you and your family and I am sorry that I missed the service.
God be with you.
