I work on a website and for the museum of American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor (ADBC) and people wonder how I can work on a subject that involves horrible atrocities.
It is because of the message of hope that Albert Brown gave to others and the the triumph of the human spirit he embodied.
When I had a lot of catastrophes in my life, I turned to the lessons about hope that this particular group of war veterans gave forth, and carried on. Thanks for your inspiring life, Albert...

I was privileged to play Taps for my cousin Al Brown yesterday at his memorial service. While the term "hero" is often over used, this gentleman was indeed a true WWII hero. Thanks to the Honor Guard from Fort Leonard Wood for their fine job and to the support of the Illinois Patriot Guard Riders. Please take time to read about Dr. (Major) Albert N. Brown and discover what a unique & wonderful man he was. Thank you.
