Albert A. Caporaso, ,97, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Chandler Estates, Plainfield Township. He was the husband of the late Emilia E. "Emily" Caporaso, who passed away, January 30, 2008, together they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Born: March 17, 1916, in Pen Argyl, he was the son of the late Luigi and Carolina (Pantaleo) Caporaso. Personal: Prior to retiring, Albert was employed as a foreman for the former Buffalo Knitting Mills, Pen Argyl. Memberships: He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of UNITE. Survivors: He is survived by two sons, Albert A. Caporaso, Jr., of Wilmington, DE, and Luigi J. Caporaso, of Newark, DE; three daughters, Caroline S. Paolini of Fairfield, PA, Catherine S. Caporaso of Bethlehem and Cynthia J. Caporaso of Shellburne Falls, MA; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife Emilia, a grandson, four sisters and a brother preceded him in death. Services: Albert's wish was for his services to be private with burial in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Pen Argyl. To Albert's family, I worked for Albert at Buffalo Knitting he was the most kind hearted person you would want to know. He treated everyone with kindness. Sorry for your loss he will be missed.
