Not sure what to say?

I just learned of the passing of SFC Al Capria. Al was my NCO in the food service section of the 376th Combat Support Hospital on Electronics Parkway in Liverpool, NY. When we did our 2 weeks active duty, even at 0400 hours, or as we fondly called it..."O Dark Hundred", Al would greet me as I arrived in the section with a cup of tea and his ever present smile. As a new first lieutenant, Al quickly showed me the way to be comfortable in the field and he taught me about running a hospital...

To the Capria Family: During his youth, Albert lived next door to my family on Drexler Ave in Liverpool. So sorry for your loss. Catherine Bernardi-Ryan

Al, we will all be together very soon. We can have a glass of wine and talk cars and hunting for deer. God bless. Your sister and brother-in-law Carmella and Walter Krupnak and family. Jeffrey,Valerie, Ashley

I had the honor of serving with Al in the 376 th Combat Support Hospital, Army Reserves. Al's smile and wit was amazing not to out do his commitment to his fellow soldiers. To his family, thank you for sharing such a wonderful man. Nancy Zlomek , Army Nurse

I shall always remember my cousin Al with great affection.

Comfort Planter

Dear Dorothy and children: I've learned that when God sends us someone to love, that it is only a loan. I will miss your dear husband and father. And will always remember him coming to my front door with a loaf of Columbus bread a couple of weeks after my husband, George, died and sat with me to talk about days gone by. It was so good of him. Bless all your hearts, Cousin Marion Capria

Dear Dorothy and Family, I wish I could be there to comfort you in person. It is said that one of the best things we can do in this life is to leave good memories with others. I certainly believe that Albert has left many, many good memories with his very large family and his wide circle of friends and coworkers. With my deepest sympathy for your loss. Much Love, Brenda Steele

I am sorry to hear of your loss for the entire family.
