Al and I attended The Citadel together for four years from 1976 to 1980... He was a standup great guy, He was always in a great mood and always fun to hang out with. He will be missed .

I was a 1980 classmate and fellow Marine with Al. I did not know him well, but always found him to be a solid guy during our Citadel days. Reading all of the remarks it is obvious that he lived a life of service and left this life much too early, but now will live in eternal life.
