Not sure what to say?

I just now heard about Al's death while speaking with a mutual friend at a car show. (5-27) I had moved out of the area for approx. 2 years, and lost touch with many old friends. I will really miss Al; we were very close during the old "street rod" days. He was always a big help to me on working on my cars. It was therapeutic for him, and a pain for me. I'm sorry we hadn't stayed in touch, and he will be very sorely missed by myself and my mother who thought so much of Al. He will ever be...

"you were a humble man unaware that you were a much loved king"......

TO THE FAMILY OF AL- HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND YOU WILL BE KEPT IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

I WILL MISS THE LATE NITE PHONES CALLS AND THE FUN TIMES WE HAD. THOSE WILL ALWAYS KEEP ME GOING TILL I JOIN YOU. YOUR FAMILY WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOUR SPIRIT AND LAUGHTER ALIVE. I MISS AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. TILL WE MEET AGAIN !!!

Albert....

Wow...is there a title he didn't have? I can think of many starting with friend! Of course, there is also neighbor, confidant, protector, taxi driver, race car driver, race car collector, NASCAR teacher, dinner guest, breakfast guest, babysitter, travel companion, private detective, master of disguise. He owned all of these titles as far as I am concerned. But the one that is most important to me...he's the one person on this earth that taught me I really did know...

Gone but not forgotten. {{Albert}} resting in the arms of NASCAR's angels.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Albert will be missed by so many Friends, he had many. He was one of the best people I have ever known, and I am proud to call him my Friend. He will be forever in my heart.

An old friend from the early days in Edgemont.
