I learned today (8/21/15) that Mr. Chapar passed away and it saddens me greatly. He was my sixth grade teacher at Stoney Brook School. I have great appreciation of a man like him. I truly believe that he was the best teacher I ever had. Now at the age of 62, I know that he was a man admired by many. This world lost a wonderful human being. My prayers remain with his family.

Mr. Chapar was my 6th grade teacher at Lordship Elementary and one of the best teachers I ever had. He was always so encouraging. I was looking to reconnect with him, to thank him for being one of my strongest positive influences, but found his obit instead. My sincere condolences to his family.

may god keep you in his arms and may my dear friend rest with the angles along the waters of heaven rest in peace my dear friend and confidant

You always asked me how I was whenever I saw you and always wanted to know what I planned on doing with my future. You always made sure I was doing well in school. You were a kind hearted and loving man and neighbor who will be greatly missed and I pray that you rest in peace. Thank you

Mr. chapar also helped me as a counselor when I was in Stony brook Elementery school.Though I am sure he helped many children he made me feel as if I were the...
