Not sure what to say?

I worked with Al from 1986-1999. My wife and I had a baby boy when I was 30 in 1995. I was a young lesbian then (I´m an old lesbian now). Al offered repeatedly to be my son´s god parent. I always turned him down with a smile and a laugh. I couldn´t understand what his interest was in my queer little family. He was always kind to me and I have fond memories of him. I´m thankful he got to live to a good old age. My condolences to his family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Our family is so sorry to hear about Al passing away. My dad is still telling us stories to this day about all of the adventures they had together. We will do our best to see if we can bring dad to the services. Sue you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers! With Love, Monica Palermini Butler.

I am a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1967. A little before Al went there so I did not have the privilege to know Al but he is my brother in the Central Catholic family and also in the Air Force Family. It is a lose in. Both families and one that I stand and salute my fellow Air Force Family member and wish him well with his new wings and he will be missed. I love the Hawaiian people and try to live through their belief in how to live their lives and be nice to all our brothers...

I have so many fun, wonderful and warm memories of Al Corrado and his beautiful wife, Sue. Any event at University of Portland was made a special occasion by his presence. I´m sure there´s a special place in heaven for this generous and gracious man.

I was saddened to hear of Al's passing. What a wonderful, generous man in all things. I enjoyed running into him at the different Catholic events around town. Always had a smile on his face and he lit up when he saw all his friends.

I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Corrado's passing. Mrs. Corrado, you, Chris, and your entire family, are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find peace and comfort in your love for, and memories of, Al and his amazing life!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sue & family: I'm stunned at the news of Al's passing. As a CCHS, & U of P classmate, I have countless memories of him over the years. He was a man deeply committed to family & his faith. His generosity is legendary. I pray for God's comfort for his family during these difficult days. Ollie Renner
