Not sure what to say?

When Dr. Diddle called or stopped by the Preston Medical Library, he inspired us with his commitment to scholarship. Into his late 90's he continued to inspire young doctors and faculty. He was a fine man, a gentleman and a scholar. I celebrate his contributions to medicine and his dedication to his patients. He was also a friendly soul.

John and Debbie - Betsy and I (she is and I was until late last night)have been in Murfreesboro for the holidays, and we just learned of your father's passing. We send our deepest sympathies to you and the family. Dr. Diddle was a wonderful man and doctor. The Leshers and Diddles have a long history of friendship and caring for one another. Blessings to all of you.

Dr. Diddle was a wonderful man. He had been my doctor and I was lucky enough to work with him.... And think of him as a friend. Sorry we are out of town and won't be able to be at the service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Dr Diddle might have been crusty, but he sure was a good guy and underneath it all, he let you know how he really felt. We will all miss him.

I will always be thankful to Dr. Diddle for performing the surgery that saved my life in 1960. He was a great a great physician. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time.

Outside my immediate family, Dr. Diddle has had more influence on my life and career than any other person. After rotating for two months on the Ob/Gyn Service as an intern, I decided I wanted to do what this MAN did. Subsequently he, and his staff, educated me, encouraged me, nurtured me. He was truly a "Mentor!" THANKS, DR. DIDDLE.
