Not sure what to say?

Albert the III and I were best friends growing up in SF (because of the Alberts I liked calling my self Clayton the 2nd for many years, and my dad is NOT named Clayton) I remember AL and Joyce taking care of me like I was their 3rd son. Riding in the back of the Volvo, throwing things out the 3rd floor window, watching scary movies like Piranha & The Mummy in the den. The Dixon´s took such great care of & Al just let me and Albert be kids. I am grateful that everyone was so welcoming...

Dear Joyce, Albert, Mark and family, I received your note about the celebration of Al's life. I am shocked because I had not seen his obituary at the time of his passing. I have so many memories of you all and remember Al as a remarkable man. Smart, kind, funny, generous....and much more. Clayton used to spend half of his time at your house it seemed. I am distressed that I will be on an airplane at the time of his memorial so will be unable to attend. Thank you for letting me know. ...

Your Grady family sends it sympathy to you and the children on the passing of your dear Al. Please know we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you prepare to celebrate his wonderful life!

Joyce So sorry to hear of your loss.

Our world needs more people like Al Dixon. He and I crossed business paths all the time in San Fran and nothing more joyous than to be met by a jubilant smiling Al at his office, at a charity event he heartily believed in or even at financial district cross walk. He always had time and exerted inimitable kindness. RIP Al and my condolences to Al´s family.

Joyce, my heart aches to learn of Al´s passing. My sympathy and prayers to you and your family. Our paths crossed over the years in the working world and he was always a true professional, an asset to the under-served community and a friend. He will be missed by many.

As Maxwell, if he could, would say,"Al was a good friend and a asset to our community. Thanks Joyce, for sharing Al with us all these years."
