Not sure what to say?

Dearest Donnenberg Family,
Where do I begin? I am so saddened by "OUR" loss, but extremely glad he is no longer suffering.
Your Husband, Dad, Father-in-law, Grandpa was like a second father to me, always advising me and leading me in the right direction. I always trusted in his advice, and knew that he was always trying to help.
When I got into my motorcycle accident Feb 2009, and was stuck in the hospital, I remember coming to and seeing him sitting there alone waiting for...

Mrs. D, Scott, Kim, Zack, Jess, Robyn, Chris, Amanda and Andrew...

What can I possibly say that would ease the pain? I adored Mr. D and I kinda get the feeling that I was "ok" in his book too ;-) I will miss the sound of his laugh, the twinkle in his eye and the warmth of his heart. I only had the privilege of knowing him for 11 short years, but in that time, he became my family too. You all are our family and I know that you already know this, but I will say it again...Jay and I...

Michelle,
Al & I attended grade school, Hebrew school and high school together. Back then he was "Albert".
Over time we would occassionally cross paths. I was always surprised at how many of the same people we had both come to know in the intervening years.
I know hw will be missed and offer my sincere condolences.

Dear Michelle and Family,
we've known you and Al for the 30 years since we moved to NJ and heard about how our families grew and work and lives changed through the years. With the loss of Al, we wish you comfort in good memories of your husband and father and grandfather.
Sincerely,
Arie and Sara Galles

Dear Donnenberg Family:
Mr. Donnenberg is with God looking over all of us. May he rest in pease.
My thought and prayers are with you all.

Dear Donnenberg Family,

I worked with Al for over 10 yrs. and he always made me laugh. I know he will be missed by many. I do feel it is a great loss to his grandchildren who will miss out on all I know he wanted to share with them and all the love and laughs he still had to give.

Gone too soon

Al & Michelle,

Thank you for all your help and guidance. It was always wonderful when you and your lovely wife Michelle would come over to prepare our taxes and then spend the rest of the evening sharing stories about family and good food with old friends.

Thank you for everything! You will be missed.

Al at the Javits 2004 Auto Show in NYC

Al,

I will always remember our bus trip to the city to see the car show. It was the only time I remember we did anything together as true car guys that we are.
