I remember Uncle Jerry talking about Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven one year at Thanksgiving I think. He made it sound interesting, so I reread it. It was still dismal, but I'll never forget how he made it sound. I was sharing that story with a local HS principal just a day or two before he died.
