Not sure what to say?

Today I happened to think about Dr Ellman who was my gyn doctor for many years. I was thinking about when he delivered my son Jordan. I was in the hospital 2 days prior to Christmas.. he was constantly checking in on me during that time.( with his big red coat). I was released for Christmas day but ended up in the ER Christmas night. He was right there and drove the gurney right up to the delivery room and put a big sign "BOY" on the end of the bed. I will never forget that. I will always...

A year has passed and it's still difficult to think of Cousin Albert not with us, not making jokes, not hugging us with warmth and love. His generosity of spirit remains with us as an inspiration of what we could be.
With love,

Dear Barbara and family,

I just learned of Dr. Ellman's passing. Mark and I have been away; another friend and I both got an e-mail from our close friend to let us know -- you see, all of us shared in Dr. Ellman's care and she knew we would want to know.
Many people mentioned starting with Dr. Ellman on Madison Avenue. He and I actually go back before that to Lark Street, where I received his services while in College and he was interning at Planned Parenthood. There are so...

I will miss that smile. He was the best doctor. I always felt I was his favorite patient. He was so kind and so giving of his time, knowledge, energy, humor, support and love. Truly, he was one of a kind. We have lost one of the great ones.

To Dr. Ellman's family,
From 1973 until he retired, I was fortunate to have one of the most caring, gentle, wise, and gifted doctors. He delivered both of my sons (in 5/74 and 5/81) but had an emergency on 2/11/77 so Dr. Schwartz delivered my daughter -- he and I laughed about that alot! Dr. Ellman deeply cared about his patients and it was never more evident than when, in October 1981, I had a brain tumor and he visited me EVERY DAY at Albany Med during my 17 day stay and had his office...

Dear Dr. Ellman's family,
Dr. Ellman was the best doctor I have ever known. I was a long time patient, back from the Madison Ave. office until his retirement. I was his last surgery patient before he went out for his back surgery. He delivered both of my children in 1978 and 1982. My first pregnancy was a very difficult one and after an emergency c-section, he sat by my side and held my hand until I came out of the anesthesia. He was always so patient and kind. I will truly miss him.
