I met this beautiful man and his son Luigi one Saturday morning at 9 AM Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic CHurch in Saint Augustine, FL. He had met Fr. William Mooney at La Cocina Restaurant the night before and Father said a special anniversary Mass for the Evangelistas. I think of meeting him and his handsome son, often. God speed.

I am so sorry for your loss. His first cousin and fellow mischief maker was my father, Louis Evangelista. Louis passed away in 1999.
My first thought of waking everyday was of dad. Albert helped fill that void in my heart.
Although time was scarce for him due to his faith and most of all, his family, he always took the time to take my calls, humor me, comfort me and advise me.
