Al loved to travel and following his retirement, he and Mary Lou enjoyed spending the winter months in their home in Stuart, FL. There, they created lasting memories with many new friends. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and activities and playing golf. He was a member of the former St. Michael's Society on Beaver St. in Ansonia where he played in the drum corp. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Seymour and Elk's Club in Derby.

Falcha (Clare) of Seymour, cherished grandchildren, Nicole Amico (Alex Fiorelli) of Milford, Angelo and Samuel Martino of Oxford, Cheyenne (Alex Baechler) and Dakota Falcha of AZ, Nevada Falcha (Steven Slade) of CO, and Jamie and Ryan Falcha of Seymour, sister-in-law, Annette Falcha of Ansonia, lifelong best friends, Al & Fran Poeta of Seymour, Florida friends, George and Ann Chislett and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to send a heart-felt thank you to Lewis and Patricia Martino of Oxford for their friendship, caring and support throughout the years. He was predeceased by brothers, Samuel, Angelo, Michael and Fred Falcha and Joseph Falci and sisters, Rose Robertson and Mary Macchio.
