Not sure what to say?

Al, You are always remembered as a true and caring friend. RIP

Al, you are still in my thoughts and prayers,

It doesn't seem like ten years since you were called home. Still think of you often--when you and Frank and I were drafted to serve our country. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

It seems like only yesterday--how often I think of you and Frank and our days in the Army. You were always a true friend and I treasure that thought. I will always remember your true and honest kindness, not just to me and my family, but to all you called friend. You lit up the room and now I can see that special twinkle up there in the sky and I utter a prayer of thanks and say: Rest in peace, Al!

We just foung out today online about Al"s death. Al and I and my wife Annette were friends with Al and his whole family for years, even before I was married in 1970. Shirley and Debra, I am so sorry and will miss him so much. I had heart, and brain surgery, and a stroke 8 years ago and Al came to see me twice a week for the three months that I was in the hospital. Al came over to see me Feb 2010 for my birthday. I have been doing not so good for the last year and we lost contact. I just did...

Al I sure will miss you. As a Disabled Vet we talked many times. You called me many times to see how I was doing. Its been many years we have been friends. You were a great friend, I will remember you in my prayers everyday,

I'm so sad to hear of Alberts death. While he cut my hair much to my distress, on my wedding day he helped to make my curly locks smooth and sleek. That was 30 years ago! He was a great friend to my mom Grace, and I'm sorry we weren't able to send him off. Thinking of him always brings a smile to my face. Our prayers are with you and your family. God Bless.

Albert,
We are all asking the same question: why did you have to leave us and why so soon. You touched our lives in so many ways. You made us laugh, so many shared memories and good times. You entertained us and you were there to listen and care. We could always talk to you, even in sad times. Family and friends meant everything to you. You have tattooed our hearts forever, never to be forgotten. We love you Albert, now and for eternity. All our love, Joni Veach* & Maryann Consoli....

My deepest sympathies to Albert's family. I met Al and Frankie when we were inducted into the Army in 1958. The years have flown by. I always remembered when he called me after Frankie passed and asked if he could come and visit me in Huntington Beach, CA. It was also his first trip to Palm Springs, and although he would like to have moved to California, his love for his family would not let him. I will always keep the memory of the good times. Albert, although we lost contact the last...
