Not sure what to say?

He was the best father-in-law you could ask for. Rest in peace!

Dear Bente, am very sorry to know about Al's passing. We were classmates at the University of Chicago. He was the most lovely person then and reading his obituary he carried that generosity of spirit and intelligence forward in his long career. I met his parents, a very loving couple, many many years ago and know that they were his inspiration. It is wonderful to know that he had you by his side. He was a lucky as well as a good man. Dear Bente: I just found out about your husband´s passing. I am very sorry. I met him once. I enjoyed our brief meeting . Best of luck to you.

Bente: So sorry to hear about Al. I was away for a couple of weeks. Best wishes from all of our family. You were such a wonderful friend to us all, for so many years. With love, Dave Fish

My deepest condolences, Bente. I received your call yesterday and regret I was unable to answer. But I will call you in the near future. Al was my oldest friend. We were first grade classmates at the DW Gooch School in Melrose and that was a bond that lasted until his recent passing.

Please accept our sincere condolences on this sad occasion of Al's death. His legacy of love and giving will live on for a long long time. Rest assured that our thoughts and prayers are with and for you All.
