Albert and Ruby Gallas

My sincere condolences I read their story in the obituary newspaper I was touched by their long marriage and their long lives into their 90´s and how he died soon after she did. Im sure they had a wonderful life and left a beautiful Legacy

Worked for Al 2 or 3 summers when I was in college. Dated Millie their daughter for a while in high school when they lived in a Bass camp outside Kermit. Al & Ruby lived down the street from my mother and dad Vic and Esther Lambert in Monahans as dad also worked for Bass. Both Al and Ruby were kind and good people. They have entered into their eternal reward.

The Gallas family lived in the Richardson-Bass oil field camp north of Kermit in the early 60s. He used to call me "pork chop" when I was a kid. My dad Boyd Benton worked with him at Bass for many years and Al gave my dad the nickname of `Bucket´! Al and Ruby were positive, fun and compassionate people. Well done, good and faithful servants..
