DR. ALBERT A. GORDON

I was a student of Dr. Gordon's when he first moved to Houston in the 70's. I loved him as an instructor. Many years later, I had the privilege of joining him on the Faculty. He was an amazing colleague and mentor. I still miss him to this day.

Our love and admiration for Al will linger in our hearts forever. In our minds he never aged, his love for family,devotion to his beloved wife, his dignity, and love for his religion, provides us comfort. May his memory be a comfort to all his family.

My heartfelt sympathy and thoughts go out to the dear family of Dr Albert Gordon, while I knew them only briefly, they touched my heart. This explains volumes of DEAR Dr. Albert Gordon...what love this family must share.

Dr. Gordon was a fine man and a true gentleman. Al's love for his lovely wife and family came first, but he next loved teaching at the Dental Branch. He was so devoted to our students. He had many teaching responsibilities, but his teaching in the preclinical laboratory courses was some of his best.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gordon family. I worked with Dr. Gordon during the WREB on several occasions. He was always so helpful and willing to volunteer. He will be missed.

As a fellow faculty member of UTDB Al and I had many interesting discussions of many varied topics. As a oral pathologist he was always asking me about his "medical problems" and how his treatment was progressing. At one time you lived on Hilcroft and I was living on Braewick behind you. He was a devoted teacher and devoted to his students. His many medical problems are not solved. He will be fondly remembered. Paul G. Stimson, DDS, MS
