GRIGNANI, Albert - Of Fenton, age 70, Monday May 16, 2016 at his residence.



 



Funeral service will be held 12:30pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,



 



Father David Harvey officiating.



 



Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.



 



Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.



 



Albert was born in Flint on June 13, 1945, the son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Kaza) Grignani. He worked at Buick for 32 years, retiring in 1996. Albert was an avid boater on Lobdell Lake. Mr. Grignani was in the United States Marine Corp.



 



Surviving are brothers, Michael, Anthony (Connie) and Michael Jr. “Corky”;



 



Nieces and nephews, Tony III (Kim), Nannette (Erik) Todorow and Matt (Kristin);



 



close friends, Mitch and Andrea Avery, Gene Morgan and many other relatives and friends.



 



He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Andrew.

I met Al in 2010 when he came to visit Michael and I in Florida. He left a lasting impresion on me and I have thought of him often over the years. He was a very nice person. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.

Sorry for your Loss-Tony -Mike and Family,I met Al a couple of time in the late 60's one time with Tony"making Sausage" at your Dads house in Fenton again my condolences

Al was a wonderful person!! He was my stock handler and relief man on the old pedestal motor line in plant #36, in 1966-1968!! Rest in peace Al you've earned your rest!!! Maybe they will let you play practical jokes up there like you did at work my friend!!!:)!!! SEMPER FI!!!! Your old friend, "DUCK"


Al was a great guy. Always enjoyed the parties out to the lake. It's been a while since I saw him but will always remember his smile and laugh. Prayers for the family.
