Not sure what to say?

A reserved parking spot for his Hokie golf cart, trips to Dairy Queen, overseeing the care for those unable to take care of themselves, his smile – these are just a few fond memories of the angel named Al.

Al will be truly missed by all his friends at Warm Hearth Village. He was a friend, a volunteer, a resident advocate and an all around good guy. I learned a lot from Al and the way he lived his life. Al gave more than he took from this life. He gave of his time and energy. All of us that knew him were touched by his generous spirit.

I was so sad to hear of Al passing away, he was truely a wonderful man. He always made my day when him and Denver would come have a cup of coffee and sit and talk to me. He always knew how to light up my day when I was down. Showalter Center is truely not the same without that wonderful man. We all miss him very much, he was truely one of a kind.

I was so sad to hear of Al passing away he was a great man and always knew how to put a smile on your face when you were down... Showalter Center is just not the same without seeing that wonderful man. We all miss him very much.

I am so sad to learn of Al's passing. I will miss his jokes and his stories of being a young boy in the big city, and tea tasting. I feel thankful to have known him for the past three years. He will be truly missed at Warm Hearth Village.

Debbi-- So sorry to hear of your loss. Please let me know if there is something that I can do for you or the girls.

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Al. Our group, County Connection, had just played music at Warm Hearth on May 24th and I was thrilled to see him sitting in the audience. I had the priviledge of dancing with your father back in January when our group played. We will truly miss seeing his face.

With deepest sympathy,
Pam Landreth and the County Connection group.

Al, Debbi and family:
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Guarino was a special person and I'll always remember his visits to Wolverine to have lunch with Al. He was a friend to everyone he met. Your family is in my prayers.

Your father was a truly fine man, a "gentleman" in every sense of the word. In the five years I knew him, I was charmed by is wit and his wisdom. His death is a loss to all of us. My father (his friend and tablemate) and my family send your family our sincere condolences. If the measure of a man is his impact on those around him, Al was a truly great man, one who served as a model to all of us.
