Al was my attorney for over twenty years. His advice was always smart, honest, to the point, and right! He threatened, sued, and cajoled people on my behalf. He passed the kleenex when I decided to divorce. When I wanted to help a young student from the then Soviet Union defect, he told me not to do it, but since my mind was made up, he told me how to do it. Al made an lasting impression on me. In tough situations I still ask myself "what would Al tell me to do." He will be missed but always...

I received the notice today about the passing of our dear Albert(known to me as the Candy Man). I always looked forward to Albert coming down around 9pm to joke around and he would always give candy to me for he said it kept me sweet, then he would always tell me the saying " Candy is sweet, but liquor is quicker" But, Dale I always had one problem, he would say that he always managed to date women that would out drink him. We are saddened by the loss of Mo, Tom and Maggie's dad and send our love to the entire Hanan family. We know he will be sorely missed. His infectious smile, his gentle giant ways and the doting he did on his grandkids were always a joy to watch and will long be remembered.
Sorry we won't be able to attend the service on Sunday, but DO know our hearts, love and prayers will be. We love and miss you guys!
