Albert H. Hayden III, 69, went to the big asphalt plant in the sky on Feb. 21, 2012. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy Hayden; children, Robert (Laramie) Hayden of Canon City, Jeff (Shellie) Hayden of Westminster and Doug (Annalee) Hayden of Sedona, Ariz.; honorary daughter, Chana (Troy) Trimble of Pueblo West; brother, Mike (Dixie) Hayden of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Kathy (Jack) Cline of Pueblo; mother of his children, Noma Nel (Ron) White; grandchildren, Sam, Brandon, Elizabeth, Justin, Tom, Heather and Dawn; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Albert was born to Ruth and Albert H. Hayden, Jr. on May 22, 1942, in Pueblo. He graduated from Central High School in 1960. He started his career at Taylor Fence Company. He worked into the position of vice president for Broderick & Gibbons in Colorado Springs and when the company became Western Paving, he was promoted to president of the asphalt paving division in Denver. He retired from the company when it eventually became LaFarge. Albert was a proud member of the Republican Party, president of Colorado Contractors Association in 1995 and a 40 year member of BPO Elks #90. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Pastor Darron Wilson officiating.
