I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pat and with the family at this difficult time. I have some great memories of Al playing and singing, sometimes with Dan Harrington. What a pair!! Always knew how to have a good time. You'll be on my mind, Pat during your time of healing. May your faith help you feel peace. Barb

My condolences to the James family. I had a lot of great visits with Al at the wise river club, I remember the day he was riding his horse in to torry lake and discovered the huge blowdown he said it was unbelievable the trail was gone . We talked a lot about the pattengail and grouse lakes. Al never missed stopping in the WRC to visit. He was one of my favorite people . Rest in peace my friend I´m sure you are riding your horse all around heaven

Mark & family, so very sorry for your loss of my dear friend. I´m out of state now & wont return until Mon April 7. Rest in Peace!

Al was my gym teacher at East Jr High School back in the 70's. I will always remember how he helped grow me up and teach me how to be a man. "Nothing is easy so you have to go get it!!!" He made me realize these things and taught me how to be tough and be relentless. He was a great friend and will be truly missed but not forgotten!!!
