Albert J. Joslin Jr.

Albert J. Joslin Jr., age 69, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at a Topeka hospital. He was born April 25, 1939 in Topeka the son of Albert Joslin Sr. and Leslie A. Dove Joslin. He grew up in Topeka and worked for Stokley & VanKamp for 15 years and then Woodland Health Center for 23 years. He married Nora E. McLaughlin August 17, 1963 in Topeka. Albert enjoyed working in the garden, helping neighbors and was known as being good hearted. He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Nora Joslin of Topeka; a son, Patrick W. Joslin of Topeka; three daughters, Wanda M. Johnson of Topeka, Brenda F. Bourne and Angel M. Joslin of Topeka; one sister, Laverne Eastman of Paola, KS; 9 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be Monday, October 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Sunday from 1:009:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home with family visitation from 6:008:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
