May God bless you and your...
I met Al in the mid 1960s when I was a lowly rear rodman on a State,Highway Admin survey crew. We remained friends throughout our careers and into retirement. He moved a few miles from me and in the summer I would occasionally ride my bike to his house. I was exhausted and Al was calmly sitting outside in a chair by his garage admiring his lawn and drinking a beer. I often thought he had the better idea. He was always a fun guy to be around and he is sorely missed but not forgotten.
