I also had the privilege of serving on the board of Valley Regional Hospital with Albie. I always appreciated his guidance and words of advice.
It is a blessing that his pain is gone but he will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. I have had no contact with Al for almost 70 years but he had a significant impact on my life. We worked as conselors at Camp Soangetaha in the late 40s and early 50s. Al was a year older and when he got to Yale he wrote me suggesting that I should consider applying there.
