Not sure what to say?

Albert was my best friend growing up and continued to be a great friend in our adult years. We spent hours at the dairy farm hiking, shooting, and goofing around. We camped, hunted, and fished and his drumming sparked Jeff Jensen and myself to learn guitar and start our band the Vibratones. We spend alot of time at my parent's cabin at the Russian River, playing our music, swimming, fishing, trying to meet girls. He was the best friend a shy teen could ever want.

Al was a neighbor of ours for 13 years. He was a great man he would always stop to talk about what was going on in town or the neighborhood. He will be missed.

Big Al always came to Grocery outlet and always put a smile on my face with a cute cartoon drawing or ripping a piece of paper into a cross or just a couple bucks for a cup of coffee..such a kind, generous, loving man. I miss him. Rest in peace Al..

Al you will be missed dearly. Such a kind and loving gentleman. RIP my friend

Al was always the same to me,a big smile and a happy outlook,I knew him since high school and always enjoyed talking with him,so sad to never be able to shoot the breeze with him again.Fairwell my friend Al...Condolences to his family and friends.

Received a call from a good rigging friend of mine, Jack Remington, letting me know about Al's passing this morning. My condolences go out to Al's family. Big Al and Tom Buckless (Denny...!) were riggers in building 680, shop 31, at the end of 1980 when I began my training as a crane operator. I have very many happy memories of working with both of those guys! Al was always smiling & he could also draw very well and always kept us laughing. I will forever remember Al driving the forklift...

Condolences to the family, I know he will be greatly missed by all.

Al your great outlook on life, your big laugh, your kindness will be solely missed by so many people.

Met in high school, and were friends till the end. I cannot express how sorry I am to hear of your passing.

I will never forget what a wonderful man you became

My deepest sympathy to Al's family including brother Mike and Al's sons. He was my closest friend since elementary school to adulthood. Being a fellow Vibertone, we always had our musical connection and he always sent me newspaper articles on fellow classmates and musicians, and an occasional phone call every couple of months.
We had many hunting and fishing adventures growing up and I still remember the great fun we had at his grandparent's ranch.
I will miss you my friend.
Rest in...

Mike and family. I'm sorry to read about Big Al's passing. He would stop by my cabinet shop often to chat or I would see him in a store somewhere. He was passionate about his beliefs and I usually agreed with him. I will miss Al. May he rest in peace.
