Not sure what to say?

Senior year - 1957 - Shaw High School - Mary's Sweet Shoppe will always hold special fun memories for me - and Al was a part of the fun group!

Will always remember our fun times at Mary's Sweet Shoppe with the gang - after another wonderful at Shaw High School! Al was one of the best!

Thinking of you Uncle Al. I love and miss you so much, more than you´ll ever know. I know you´re watching down from heaven. You were the best. Put in a good word with the big man for me. Until we meet again! Here is a picture of you with Jayden Mackell! Love, Dana Mackell

Love you Uncle Al.

DEAR MACKELL FAMILY,

I'M SO SORRY TO LEARN OF YOUR LOSS OF AL.
MY CONDOLENCES REACH OUT TO YOUR FAMILY AND THE FAMILY OF CAL.
ALTHOUGH YOU DON'T KNOW ME I WAS THE YOUNG KID ACROSS THE STREET ON SCIOTO AVE IN EAST CLEVELAND.
I IDOLIZED AL AND CAL. IT SEEMED THEY WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER.
AL WOULD LET ME PUNCH HIM AS HARD AS I COULD IN THE STOMACH. HE WOULD PLAY CATCH IN THE STREET. HE WORKED AT THE DIMESTORE ON HAYDEN AVENUE AND I'LL NEVER FORGET THE SATURDAY NIGHT BEFORE EASTER...

We send our condolences to the family - we have lost a friend with whom we shared many memories - a brother Saxon - a good friend - a partner at Mary's Sweet Shop - always with a smile on his face. My peace be with you.

We had a lot of good times together years ago. My condolences to Katy and Cal. One of his favorite songs was "You'll never walk alone". You are in good hands Al.

My condolences to the Mackell family on the loss a very kind & warm man. Al always welcomed me into his home when I visited with his son during our lunch from work. From his laughter & smiles, you can tell he was a TV dad. Til we meet again in Heaven my friend!

I love you Uncle Al. You were the only man I truly admired. Rest in Peace.
Love,
Sharon
