Albert and I shared modern physics classes in the Northwestern Olli continuing education program. We discovered our common roots of growing up on the Jewish West Side, attended the GVS banquets and had many friends in common. I admired his intellect and marvelled at his grasp of physics - for which he had little training. He learned and taught in our weekly classes. The usual greeting he gave each week when asked how´s everything was "ich schlepzach" he will be missed.
