Not sure what to say?

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you that mourn his loss. Thank you for the kindness I always received.

I got to know Albert when we both were vending at the Metro Market in Des Moines. I marveled at his abilities and his caring persona. He brought his wonderful baked goods, unloaded them all by himself from his van and waited on customers all weekend. I loved hearing how the items were created in his family bakery. He always talked lovingly of his family members, and I can only imagine the loss you are feeling. He will be missed by so many!

You are not going to believe my story, but I have always thought about Albert since I met him about 14 years ago during an inside market in Des Moines. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to stay and continue to talk to him. His eyes were beautiful and they spoke to me, and I felt a true connection. I have often wondered about him, since. I only met him that one brief time, but as soon as I saw his beautiful face in this obituary, I just had to tell you that he truly touched many people...

A great man of faith and courage! Our condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your lost.I will remember him and his family in my prayers.

So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed seeing Albert at the vision center. Prayers for your family

I enjoyed having Albert help me with my purchases at your family's booth at the downtown Farmers Market here in DM, and have truly missed seeing him this last year. Your family is in my prayers, and remember "there is nothing better, than to spend Christmas with the 'original' cast in heaven".

So sorry that you have lost Albert. He was always quick with a smile at the farmers markets and you knew that anything you bought from his family would be the best they had to offer. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Mast was such a kind person. I have purchased many baked items from him. He will be greatly missed.
