To Mrs. Hortense Matthews & the entire Matthews Family,

I was saddened to hear of Bubba's passing. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to each and every one of you. I know that the loss is felt greatly right now, but be encouraged; know with a firm and sure certainty that Bubba is in heaven peaceful & serene serving at the knee of the Lord. I am comforted in knowing Albert is resting now. My heart is heavy, but my love for a kind is heavier. The class of 1978 grieves with you in this hour. Albert will be missed, and heaven is rejoicing for many Lions have come home. RIP Bubba
